Quicksoft’s LDS solution accepts the room dimension from the user and based on the selection of type of lamp and luminaire the software gives output as required by architects, contractors, electrical engineers etc. giving the total electrical load for the selected lighting design. Apart from this the system also computes room index, coefficient of utilization factor, illuminance required and s/h m ratio and also offers the comparison between maximum up to 3 different designs with life of the lamp, re-lamping period and of course most importantly the cost of lamp/luminaire. The system offers engineers to concentrate on the conceptual design of the job with error free computation without the hassle of going through tedious formulas repeatedly.
